Vision and Learning Laboratory

The Vision and Learning Lab is part of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Virginia Tech.

We develop algorithms to learn, understand, and re-synthesize the visual world around us. We are specifically focused on these topics:

• Self-supervised representation learning

• Improving learning efficiency

• Learning-based visual reconstruction

• Understanding video contents

• Visual sensing for ecology and conservation

• Interactive neurorehabilitation
