Tablet PC and e-Textbook of the Future:
During the WIPTE 2010 conference dinner a community discussion was held to discuss the properties of the "Tablet PC of the Future". The focus of the discussion became an effort of trying to identify the features needed for a digital device to become an ideal e-textbook reader. The e-textbook reader is differentiated from the e-book reader in that the e-textbook reader will use the device to not only perform the typical note-taking operations currently performed on hardcopy texts, but also to do things that are not possible due to the lack of processing/communication capability of a paper text.
